America's Fighting Ships open to tourists
Go aboard historic US Navy ships that have protected America throughout the centuries --
battleships, aircraft carriers, submarines, etc. As you step from the gangway to the quarter deck
you're boarding a war machine. You'll see the weapons of war, the powerful engines that transport
the weapons plus the working and living areas of the sailors who make it work. The weapons range
from torpedoes to sink enemy ships to planes and heavy guns. As you tour the ships learn their
stories of courage.
These ships are just some of the many former warships that are now museums that tell us of the
