Major Organizations serving RVers

These organizations offer a variety of services tailored to the needs of their base.  
Discounts are available at many locations to members of AAA, Escapees, FMCA,
Good Sam, etc. upon request.  We have memberships in some of these.



Each of these organizations offers an array of insurance policies for RVers.  These
include roadside service, etc.     

    AAA  Offers a variety of travel services for travelers.  We join in order to get
    the TourBooks that we use for basic trip planning ideas.  

    Escapees  You should check out this site to learn of the wide range of
    services available to RVers.  There is an emphasis on services that recognize
    the unique requirements of extended travelers as well as full timers.  Also
    SKPs provides special facilities for RVers who are winding down and need
    assistance and want to continue the RV lifestyle -- worth reviewing.

    FMCA  A member driven organization of owners of motorhomes.  Offers a
    number of benefits to members including an excellent magazine, insurance,
    trip planning assistance, local chapters, etc.  The FMCA Assist member
    benefit (free to all members) is considered by many members to be worth
    much more than the membership cost.  

    Good Sam  An organization that caters to owners of all types of RVs.  It
    has local chapters, trip planning assistance, and participants can get
    discounts at selected RV parks and related businesses.  

We have a roadside service contract in case of a breakdown.  RVers can purchase
this from FMCA, Good Sam and others for coverage in the US and Canada.
